The Lakeview Foundation was founded under the leadership of Connie Griffith in 1991 and is a special non-profit corporation of Lakeview UCC organized for the specific purpose of handling long-term gifts of money or goods to support the work of the Church.

What is the purpose of the Foundation?

To receive and administer gifts and bequests to the Church over and beyond the general funds handled by the Lakeview Treasurer for general expenses.  Funds are used for the further advancement of the Kingdom of God through LUCC in all its activities including the following, but not excluding others;

• The support of the General Mission of the church in this country and abroad.
• The education of Christian ministers and others devoting their lives to Christian vocation.
• The support of Christian colleges and theological seminaries.
• The giving to Lakeview UCC of monies to be used for Capital expenditures.

By making bequests and other "planned gifts," you can continue to help Lakeview UCC.
