February is a busy month for the Lakeview Preschool children! We are happy to have the extra day. Valentine's Day will be a big focus for the month with all the classes exchanging valentines with their classmates.
Special Valentine's Day parties will be occur in each of the classrooms.
The Cincinnati Museum will visit the school for two special events! The older children will enjoy "Dino Dig," with the younger children learning all about our body with a huge doll called, "Stuffee!"
Spanish classes start on Mondays at the school this month. Our own Shelly Steffen will return as our teacher for the 3rd year! This is a very popular class for all the children.
At the end of the month, the parents will have a Parent-Teacher Conference to learn all the wonderful milestones their children have met. During the conferences, Usborne Books will be here for a book fair. The book fair is open to anyone; so please feel free to stop by on February 29th and March 1st.
A special thanks to the Tong and Yeung families for bringing Chinese New Year to all of us! The children so enjoyed it. The children also had fun doing a Zumba class in January.
Registration continues for the 2012-2013 school year. We will continue registration until all the classes are full. Call the school at 677-2288 for more information or a tour.
