The August Mission is the Pastor's Discretionary Fund
The purpose of this fund is to assist in meeting emergency needs in the community. When a person/group (including members of our own congregation) has an emergency need, Lakeview can use money from this fund to help. Please consider a gift to this mission.
Lakeview Book Group

The book for September will be "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" by Stieg Larrson.
Ladies Lunch
Thursday, Sept. 9 at 12:30 p.m.
Our next ladies luncheon will be held at the Houston Inn Restaurant, which is located on Route 42 in Mason. Those wishing to carpool should contact Joyce Lohstroh or Janet Cullen. This will be our first luncheon of the season.
Lakeview FUNdraiser at City Barbeque
Tuesday, September 14
Tuesday, Sept. 14 is a day you'll want to check out the City Barbeque restaurant on Tylersville Road (across from Kroger). During that day, anyone who orders IN or TAKE OUT will benefit Lakeview. Lakeview will receive 25% of any orders made using the Lakeview coupon that you can pick up from church, get from page 12 in the Sept. Link, or click here to download it. You can eat there any time during the day, or plan to meet up at 7:00 p.m. that evening if you want to get together as a group. Please take advantage of this easy opportunity to raise funds for our church!
Join Us for a Downtown Walking Tour
October 16 at 9:45 a.m.
Are you ready to learn more about the City of Cincinnati? In the past we have learned about the Pendleton District and the Fourth Street architectural and cultural history of Cincinnati.
For our next Adventure we will walking around Findlay Market, Phillipus Church, Christian Moerlin and Clyffside Breweries. The tour starts near Findlay Market. The tour takes about 1.5 hours and is about 1 mile long.
After we are done, we will decide on where we want to eat and picnic in Downtown Cincinnati. The cost of the tour is $10, and is payable that day. There will be a sign-up sheet in Narthex after September 18.
